Kyrie Irving has officially become a Net.
The six-time All-Star has signed his deal — a reported four-year, $141 million contract — with the team on Sunday, though the Nets have not yet released the full terms of that deal. The NBA champion joins a team that will include DeAndre Jordan, who also signed his deal Sunday, and Kevin Durant (expected to miss the upcoming season due to his Achilles injury).
The 27-year-old’s journey to Brooklyn comes after six seasons in Cleveland and just two in Boston. He trades in his Celtic green-and-white for Nets black-and-white, and New York fans are very excited!
